The SONIC Project is Here to Help You Pass Your Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Exam, and Join a Promising, Satisfying, and Highly Lucrative Career in Cybersecurity
What is the New Entry-level Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Exam?
Administered by the prestigious certification body (ISC)2, the new entry-level CC exam is geared for those looking to join "entry- or junior-level" cybersecurity roles. The idea is that due to the cybersecurity skills gap, employers will need to expand hiring policies to include those who have little to no experience, but are full of passion, curiosity, and want to grow their skills with new learning opportunities. Earning the CC certification is a way to showcase that the career path you want to take is in information security.
The other reason to take this CC exam: it is a nice quick and easy exam to get you ready for your CISSP! It contains near-identical topics, easier exam questions, can further simplify your CISSP studies, enhance your knowledge, and only add to your readiness! I wish this exam was around when I was a junior systems administrator!
Does the CC Exam Require Experience?
This exam does not require you to have any direct hands-on security work experience.
This certification is welcoming anyone of any background to take a shot at a cybersecurity exam. It's fairly easy, straight-forward, and just looking to see if you can see all the moving parts of what makes up security. If you pass - great! Maybe it's time to take it to the next step. If you fail, maybe give it another shot and then decide if you want to continue continue.
The SONIC Project understands you are starting out in cybersecurity or getting ready for your CISSP exam. It is a course designed for those who are looking to enhance their foundational security knowledge and serve as a prep course for the CISSP.
