Hi everyone,

I have passed the test yesterday at 101 questions in 1h30. Here are some tips/experience which works for me (might not suitable for others so its totally your call to apply or not).

1. Try as many practice sources as you can, don’t stick with one because you will be familiar with wording style/questions and answers. Some resources I used are Lu...

A senior citizen (60+) bows to Luke Ahmed.

I have provisionally passed the CISSP exam on May 2, 2019 - 100 questions and 110 minutes. I am a network engineer who is on call 24 x 7. I have a Ph.D. and used to be a CCIE (no longer current) but never had to study as much as I did for the CISSP exam.

I followed Luke Ahmed's advice - immerse yourself in the CI...

My journey to CISSP began in December 2016. I was sent on a week's course, but it seemed more of an overview and I clearly wasn't ready. Life got in the way and I sporadically studied with good intentions, but alas....life....

So last August I decided to throw myself into it and I did....studied on the train to work, every weekend I split baby duties with...

I am extremely happy to announce that I provisionally passed the exam this past Saturday. This was my 3rd attempt and like most, I thought I would be studying for my 4th attempt during the test. Fortunately, I walked from the exam and collected my results paper. I asked the proctor to fold it for me and I walked outside of the room and into the stairwell....

FARAZ ALI KHAN: CISSP Journey

I heard the term CISSP first time in 2007, when I was at initial stage of my career and seeking for IT certification to boost my career. But I couldn’t stand on this when I heard it’s one of the toughest exam. At that time, I thought I cannot pass this exam as I was not bright student during my school days.

With the passage...

I am happy and relieved to say that I cracked the CISSP on March 18th. I was inspired and motivated by reading how others studied for this exam and the challenges they overcame to do so, and I’m pleased and humbled to add my own story.

First a bit of background: I’m 53 years old and I’ve been in IT for 20 years, first as an IT manager in a small company, t...

After the last 3 months of really stepping up my study game, I can finally say I’m provisionally CISSP certified!

Seeing those words 'Congratulations' printed on your results paper, makes all those long nights and weekends immersing yourself in CISSP concepts worth it.

But before picking up any CISSP study guide or attempting practice questions, I asked mys...

Context

I must say that I am not a big fan on study plans. If you have long commutes, a demanding job, the only way out is probably to study smart. Everyone has a different approach,  I like to explain the concepts to my friends to test myself. It is also important to keep reminding yourself why you want to take this exam. For me, it is to prove to others...

Hi Guys,

My name is Muhammad Awais and I provisionally passed CISSP exam on 10th Jan. 2019 (maybe the Jan. the 10th is a lucky date for me because 3 years back I cleared my CCIE exam on same date as well) and I am writing this to let all CISSP aspirants to know how I cracked it.

It all started after my job change which got me responsible for PCI compli...
